Life is made up of little moments of bliss which go by in a blink.
You’re not the one to blow them out, but placing and lighting candles on a cake is just as fun. Well, that is until you burn your finger trying to light up the last candle which happens to be that one right in the middle.
My small blink of bliss was delicately completing the above operation, standing back and seeing all the candles sparkle brightly away on a birthday cake just before they were all blown out!
It could be for your birthday, anniversary or simply a thank you but it’s always nice to receive a card from friends/family marking the occasion. Initially its a blur when you see a handwritten note inside the card but reading a message penned just for you is really special.
Today was our anniversary and I received a lovely card from my husband with a very wonderful message, it was a blink of bliss to read and one I will treasure forever. My cheeky husband then said, “It feels like twenty not three years!”….Charming!
